Absolutely. As someone who lives in Oslo you will be learning about the food culture and cuisine that surrounds you every day. Norwegian food is one of the most rapidly developing in Scandinavia. You will also be learning many fascinating historical facts and stories that you may not be aware of. Plus, unlike our guests who visit from afar, being a local just means that you have more opportunities to go back to all the delicious food destinations that we will be visiting.
At the current time our tours are only led in Norwegian and English but with advance notice we can organize a private tour for your group with the appropriate language.
All our tours are held rain or shine. In the case of rain we will be able to go inside many of the tasting locations and there are other places where we will be able to stay dry. We kindly ask that you please look at the weather forecast and dress appropriately. Tickets cannot be cancelled due to the weather.
Children of all ages, if they can walk, are welcome. Some of our locations will be difficult to access with a pram so please make sure to have a place to store it, or an alternative conveyance.

The tour ends in the center right by city hall. From here all major sights and hotels are easily accessible.
